Ella and I toured and registered for nursery school on Friday. This is a tough one for me to swallow for some reason. I have had the realization of just how fast time goes. Just the other day she was my little Bean...my baby! Don't get me wrong, it is wonderful and exciting but it makes me realize that we only have our babies for such a short time then we are trusting the community to do right by them and hope they are going to be okay.
I realize it is only nursery school.
A co-worker told me on Friday that "the best thing we can teach our children is how to walk away". After I stopped crying it made a lot of sense. Change is good and healthy and healthy growth is all we can hope for for our children. So until they create that non-aging bubble that I can keep my babies in, I will accept time for what it is and appreciate all the future lessons it has to teach me.

I speak from experience when I say I would give the world to be back where you guy's are now! Jason and Megan you were great children, typical kids but yo always listened and did the right thing. I still see that happening now and as I gro into my Pop Pop role I can only hope to fill the shoes of the Pop Pop that came before me.
