Cool Times in Hot Weather...

Personally, I cherish these warm summer days. If I never saw another day below 70 I would be happy but with the Bean having the body temp of her father (human heaters) we have to be aware of how these days are affecting our little one (well...big one!). Ella and I spent a day at the Strong Museum last weekend. It was our first time there and what fun it was. We saved some of the big attractions for second and third visits. She was so overwhelmed and she found comfort in familiar things like the Elmo computer...which she sat at for about 15 minutes. We are fortunate to live so close to the school, for many reasons. For now the most important is that Ella can use the playground. Last Sunday we took her down there to play for a bit. Her and Matt had such a great time on the slides (it was nice having Matt there so I didn't have to try to fit my belly down the slides!). I love some of these pics ...you'll see why when you see her expression!
