What's Up Doc...

Ella went for her 18 month check up today. It went well, especially because there were no shots! The doc was so impressed with Ella and it was so wonderful to hear. She said her language and motor development were "excellent" and is ahead of schedule. As a first time parent you wonder how you are doing...one of the things I always get on my soap box about is TV use. She likes TV. You know, her little shows - Jo Jo, Higgly Town Heroes, Sesame Street, Mr. Roger and, although I am sorry to say, Barney. Doc says it's okay because it is not causing her any delays nor is she preoccupied with it. She's the BEAN!! I mean, come on, look at that face...it's nothing but perfect :) P.S...some of Ella's new words - "tree", "cookie", "peas", "jacket"...
