Today is my Dad's birthday! We celebrated on Sunday with the family. It was fun, as usual, to have everyone together for the festivities. Especially when Matt gives his award winning rendition of "happy birthday"...you really should hear it.
I am always so happy to see Ella with my dad. I think because he is pretty much the world to me and to see the other piece of my world love him as much as I do really makes me joyful! He is an amazing man with a kind heart, a worried head (as most good dad's have), a great sense of humor and gentle soul. He is kick a** when he needs to be but luckily he saves that for those REALLY bad times.
Happy Birthday DB. I love you. WE love you and adore you with all our hearts.
