Long Beautiful Hair...

Another first my friends! The first hair cut! It was time. If you read Matt's blog you will read all the mullet jokes about Ella's hair but it was true! She was adorable even with a mullet. Anyway, we took Ella up to the Park Ave. Salon where I get my hair done by Nicky. Nicky is FANTASTIC and someone I just love to be with so it was a no-brainer for us to take her there. It's a huge event! So, Ella was a bit curious at first but once she was settled, Nicky could cut away. Ella looks beautiful, of course. Nicky ended up giving Ella two of her combs. They became Ella's safe-objects during the whole thing. I saved the hair...weird. I did it mostly because mom told me to. I think it's just creepy. I have to google and find out what the deal is with that whole thing... what sort of folklore exists. It is a bit weird though! Ella was all about combing her hair after that experience! Ella, Nicky and I :) Post cut Daddy-time! Funny...I am usually that happy when I am getting my hair done too!
