Update...

I'm realizing that, typically, I post pics all the time and rarely send out an update on Ella's big events! Yesterday was a HUGE one! She walked...well, stepped for the first time. She was at my parents's house and my dad was having her go from the couch to the table for Cheerios. She took three steps and did it three times! We have been priviledged to be able to see all of Ella's milestones thus far so to miss out on this one was okay. She is more comfortable crawling so this remains her preferred means of transportation. We went to Wegmans this morning to do our shopping and Ella found it necessary to say "HI" to everyone! I felt sad when she would say hi and the grumpy person wouldn't respond to her. It only happened a couple times otherwise people LOVED her! As they usually do. It is funny to go out with her because people constantly remark about how cute she is. Dah! She eating adult food now. Sort of. No hard foods but things like bread/veggies/cereals. Anything she can hold with her hands, she loves! Another approaching event will be when we move her car-seat to forward facing! Not a big deal to most but to think of when we first put the seat in and how far off a year seemed and here we are. She's gotten so big and beautiful and healthy! So many blessings.
