She's Almost a 7 Monther...

There have been some significant events in the past week or so that have really brought me to the realization that Ella is getting older! (Waaa!) I cannot believe how the time has flown by but we are coming up on 7 months already! She has almost outgrown any 6-9 month clothing and is almost comfortably in 12 months :) She's a big girl. She is a precious girl. Here were my moments... The other morning Matt and I had her in her swing in the Living Room while we got ready for work. Usually it is a bit hectic thanks to my typically frantic need to get out of house. But this particular morning, I looked over at Ella and she had positioned herself to be sitting up! Straight up in her swing...as it was swinging!! So cute. She just smiled at me when I noticed and took the time to acknowledge her huge accomplishment...making my usual mommy sounding squeal! Today I came home and found Mommom Irene feeding Ella in her high chair. This is usually what is happening when I get home. It is amazing because Ella gets really happy and excited when I come home and she smiles and laughs. Today I came in and was walking toward her and she said MA-MA.. YES!!! I looked at her and said "What did you say?" (I guess hoping she would repeat it) then I turned to my mom and asked her the same. As my mom and I looked at each other, we both broke down into tears. It was a moment. Anyway, Ella just sort of looked there wondering what she had done to make us cry. It was precious. So life goes on and we all get older, including the baby girl! She is amazing and beautiful and so full of joy everyday! Even when her teeth are coming in!...sort of! We hope everyone is well and the hussle/bussle of the holidays is being good to everyone!
