The Godfather Put Me Under...

This past Friday we attended my work Christmas party. Overall, it was a good time. It was the first time I was able to go out with my friends and really be able to put back a few sans the Beaner. For those of you who know me, I like to have a good drink..often, but haven't been able due to my recent maternal responsibilities. Anyway, we had a great time and Matt was able to meet the people I come home everyday talking about. And he got to play some poker in the back with the guys...good times, he won some cashola. Highlight...my friend Loanny won the 50/50 raffle to which I responded (if I remember correctly) "Girl we are going to the bar!". Yeah, so after telling the bartender to make us a couple of good stiff drinks, he hands me two "Godfathers". It was a combination of A LOT of whiskey and Amaretto. It went down way too easy and, as he suggested, it hit me! Anyway, here are some of my buddies... Big Winner... This is Loanny, Sarah and myself...there are few that make me laugh harder than these two! This is our friend Daryle...and that's Keith in the back - our security guards :) We love those guys! P.S. Loanny made that necklace I am wearing! She makes the most beautiful jewelry if anyone is interested, let me know!!
