Back to the Grind

Back to the old grind is right! I am back to work this week and it feels as though I never left.... Monday was a bit tough for me, leaving Ella, but I only cried twice at work, which is impressive. But work just doesn't feel the same to me. I guess because two of my friends aren't here any longer and I just feel like a different person, in a good way. I am a lot less tolerant of the Bullsh*t that comes along with so many jobs. I guess that is the good thing though. I can tell you I coudn't wait to get my butt on the road and get home to her. It is sort of exciting to have that to look forward to all day long. Grandmom (my mom) is doing great babysitting and is loving it so far. Ella is so lucky to have this opportunity to bond with her! Popi Bair is off this week too so she has a range of entertainment available to her. Nana Sue is watching her on Friday which will be a great treat for both of them! So Ella is doing great. She has been talking A LOT lately. It is truly amazing. Yesterday she was taking a lot of time to work on holding her head up independently. That must feel like such an accomplishment for her! So life is good. I miss spending all day with my little Beaner but I do enjoy working and it makes me feel good to at least pretend that social work is making some difference (cheesey I know!)!
