3 Months Later

So we are coming up on Ella's 3 month 'birthday'! I truly cannot believe how fast the time has gone. I remember when we first brought her home I used to think, "I can't wait until she is about 3 months old". At 3 months they really start to get out of the 'pet rock' stage (to quote my best friend!) and you really start to see their personality. Ella is certainly letting hers shine through. She has been laughing so much and has discovered her rattles and other toys that make noise or have fun colors. She started sucking her thumb and sleeping through the night...thank you Lord!! She likes going for walks, watching some TV (ugh!...despite my better judgement!) and sleeping and has started holding her head up more and more. These past 3 months have been so much fun for us. Although there have been tired nights and days and times when I had no idea what was going on or how to be a Mom, I just took one day a time, depended on family but mostly depended on Matt. He is a great daddy to Ella and adores that little girl so much. Here's to the next three months!
