Helluu...

So here I am.  Back on blogger.  I suppose it's life that causes us to stop such things.  With two small children and a cat and two dogs and a full time job and blah blah blah...life, it gets busy.  So enjoy the previous postings.  I started it when Ella was born as a way to keep family and friends up to date so but because I am more than just my children, we will see how it progresses.  Peace.

3 months to 4 years...

Honestly, I think I might have over 1,000 pictures of Ella. I take a lot of pictures. In a couple days my little girl turns 4. And THIS is probably one of my favorite pictures. For me, I think, it is more about the moment than the quality of the picture. I wasn't one of those moms who gave birth, held the baby and fell immediately in love with her child with angels singing and flowers being thrown at my feet. For me it was a wonderful experience, don't get me wrong here, BUT my reaction was more like "Uh, hi little person, I'm Megan. I don't know anything about you." And so for me, the process began. It was and is through little moments in which I fell completely in love with my girls. Ella used to wake up SO happy after her naps. So in this picture she is fresh from her nap and this was her reaction when she saw me. She was so happy! She was starting to smile and laugh a little. It was when my heart started to open up and be filled by that laughter. 4 years. Wow.
